Borgeri Bolgheri Rosso DOC Giorgio Meletti Cavallari

Borgeri Bolgheri Rosso DOC from Giorgio Meletti Cavallari is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese. Deep ruby red in colour, it opens on the nose with ripe red fruits, light spice and a touch of vanilla and wood from maturation in oak barrels. On the palate it is round, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a complex flavour of cherry, raspberry, black pepper and chocolate, with a long, pleasantly persistent finish. It pairs well with red meat such as grilled fillets and lamb, as well as aged cheeses.
