Boulder Bottled in Bond is an American single malt whiskey, made from barley malt at Vapor Distillery in Colorado and bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It matured for a minimum of four years in new American oak casks, kept and overseen in a federal warehouse. Boulder Spirits found that 50% was the strength at which the whiskey tasted best, so chose to bottle at it. The story began in 2011, when Alastair Brogan moved from Scotland to Colorado with his 1,000 gallon Forsyth still to make whiskey.
