Bowmore 10 Years Old is a single malt from the Bowmore distillery on the Scottish island of Islay. It is bottled at 40% in a one litre bottle.
It was matured in Spanish oak sherry casks and hogsheads, which give it a rich, intense character.
The palate is full-bodied, with peat smoke, dark chocolate, raisins, dried fruit and spiced oak. The finish is warming and slightly smoky, with sherry sweetness and soft spices in balance.
