This Bowmore is an 11-year-old single malt from Islay, bottled as Cask Series 27 by North Star Spirits to mark the company's 10th anniversary. It was distilled in February 2015. The whisky first matured in a refill bourbon barrel, then spent six weeks in Pedro Ximénez octaves. It is bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and without artificial colouring. Liquorice, aniseed and smoke are balanced by fruity sweetness and citrus.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
