This is Bowmore 12 Year Old with a screen printed label, from the 1990s, bottled at 40%. Its colour is amber.
On the nose there are already hints of bottle age, very little smoke and something coastal. The palate brings noticeable peat, crystallised fruit, butter caramel and a little liquorice, before salt and tar make it bolder and it becomes heavy with salty liquorice. The finish is rather long, mainly dried plums and salt.
