This is a 12 year old Islay single malt from Bowmore, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry and ex-Bourbon casks, and the Oloroso casks add depth to its profile.
Red berries, vanilla caramel and peaches give a sweetness on both nose and palate, with a subtle touch of peat smoke. The palate also brings dried fruits, caramel and gentle oak. The finish combines sweet vanilla, dried fruit and a touch of spice.
