Bowmore 12 Year Old is a single malt from Islay, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is briny, with burnt grass, peat and soft smoke, and a sherry note comes through with time in the glass. On the palate, fragrant smoke sits over an oily, earthy background with seaweed, and the style is lean and sweet with a resinous edge.
The finish carries the smoke through with salt, pine and a touch of yellow fruit such as plum or banana.
