Bowmore 12 Year Old is an Islay single malt bottled at 40%. It is described as complex and well balanced, with citrus, heather honey, vanilla and smoky tones. Bowmore is called Islay's oldest distillery, with its first recorded mention dating from 1779.
The nose is lemon and honey balanced by peat smoke. The palate is warm, with dark chocolate, and the finish is soft peat smoke that runs long and mild.
