A 15-year-old Islay single malt from Bowmore, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It spends twelve years in bourbon casks before a final three years in oloroso sherry casks, balancing the sherry influence against the distillery's fruit and peat character.
On the nose there is dark chocolate, sun-dried fruits and a wisp of Islay smoke. The palate brings cedar wood and rich treacle toffee, and the finish is robust and complex with a hint of sherry tannin.
