Bowmore 15 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 43% in a 700ml bottle. It is matured first in bourbon barrels, then spends its final three years in Oloroso sherry casks, which give it a deep colour and a robust, warming finish.
The nose combines dark chocolate and raisin with the classic Bowmore smokiness. On the palate there is cedar wood and rich treacle toffee, and the finish is spicy, with toffee, sherry and barley.
