Bowmore 15 Years is an Islay single malt from the Bowmore distillery, which has stood on the island's coast since 1779.
The whisky matures in both bourbon and sherry casks, followed by a three year finish in Oloroso sherry casks. This extra time gives it a deep colour.
The nose is intense with dark chocolate, raisins and a hint of smoke. On the palate come dried fruit, sherry sweetness and gentle peat smoke. The finish is warm and long, with chocolate and soft smokiness.
