Bowmore 15 Years Old is a single malt from the Bowmore distillery on the Scottish island of Islay. It is bottled at 43% in a one litre bottle.
The whisky was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, which give it an elegant, refined character.
The palate is smooth and balanced, with vanilla, honey, citrus, tropical fruit and a little peat smoke. The finish is long and warming, with fruity sweetness, light smokiness and spicy oak in balance.
