Bowmore 17 Year Old The Distiller's Choice is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 43%. The colour is bright amber-gold with copper glints.
The nose is fruity, coastal and softly smoky, with mango, papaya and grilled pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel and heather honey. On the palate it is silky and medium-bodied, with honeyed malt, vanilla fudge and ripe stone fruit, soft peat smoke, and ginger and white pepper from the oak.
The finish is long and gently smoky, with citrus peel, salted caramel and dry peat ash.
