Bowmore 18 Year Old is an Islay single malt and a core expression in the Bowmore range. It replaced the distillery's earlier 17-year-old release.
It is matured in selected oak casks and aged in Bowmore's No.1 Vaults, which are described as the world's oldest whisky maturation warehouse. Bowmore is Islay's oldest distillery, with a history stretching back almost 240 years.
The profile combines ripe fruits and dark chocolate with gentle Islay smoke, alongside coastal notes, salty kippers and coal smoke.
