Bowmore 18 Year Old is an Islay single malt bottled at 43%. It was matured in hand-selected oak casks, left to develop at its own pace.
Bowmore is described as the oldest licensed distillery on Islay, with a history going back to 1779, and it stands on the shore of Loch Indaal. This bottling is usually noted for creamy caramel, ripe fruit and balanced smoke on the nose, then soft fruit, chocolate, caramel and spice with a light smokiness. The finish is long and well balanced.
