A single cask Bowmore, distilled in 1988 and bottled at 26 years old by the distillery for the 2015 Islay Festival. It was the highlight of Bowmore's Feis Ile Collection for that year, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky came from a single sherry cask, number 3001, and 248 bottles were filled at a natural cask strength of 48.3%, without chill filtration.
Floral, perfumed notes are well integrated with big, rich sherry, gentle smoke and Bowmore's tropical fruit.
