This 1989 Bowmore from Islay is a peated single malt matured for 23 years in Port casks. It is a limited edition, bottled at 50.8%, non-chill filtered and with natural colour.
The nose opens with smoke over a warm stew of plums and oranges. On the palate the peat builds slowly, while the fruit stays in balance. The finish is dry and long.
