Bowmore – 1997-2017 19 Year Old (55.9%)

A single cask Bowmore from Islay, distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2017 by Adelphi at a cask strength of 55.9%. It is 19 years old. The whisky matured in a single ex-sherry cask, and 300 bottles were filled from it. It has a dark amber colour and is described as bringing together sherry, dried fruit, malt, smoke, salt, oak spice and cocoa, with maritime notes running through it.
