Bowmore – 2015 11 Year Old Little Brown Dog (58.3%)

This is an 11 year old Bowmore from Little Brown Dog, distilled on 23 February 2015 and bottled on 5 May 2026 at 58.3% ABV. It comes from a single bourbon cask, with 272 bottles filled. Technically it is a small batch, as the whisky was blended in larger volumes at the distillery before filling this cask. Little Brown Dog chose to bottle it because its character stood apart from the rest of the batch. The label is made to look like a packet of roast chicken crisps, and a roast chicken was drawn on the cask. The palate has soft peat, a lovely texture and a peachy profile, and the finish turns to roast chicken crisps.
