A single malt from Bowmore, distilled in February 2015 and bottled in February 2026 at 11 years old and a cask strength of 57.9%. It was matured in a refill bourbon barrel and bottled by North Star.
The nose has peat smoke in an elegant, restrained style, with tobacco and cigar notes like an old leather sofa, honey, malt, fresh citrus and fruit, and a faint sea-air saltiness. The palate is full and intense, with liquorice, aniseed and smoked fruit, a slightly oily texture and light spice. The finish is long and warm, with salt, pepper, ginger and lemon.
