Bowmore 21 Year Old Aston Martin Edition 4 is the fourth and final release in the Bowmore Aston Martin Master's Selection series, a collaboration between Bowmore and Aston Martin. It was matured for 21 years in Tawny Port and Oloroso sherry butts and bottled at 51.4% ABV, with 2,406 bottles made for the UK.
The nose brings roasted hazelnuts, leather, pipe tobacco, dark chocolate and oak spices, followed by dark maple syrup, liquorice, charred peaches and bergamot. On the palate are toasted chestnuts, honey, salted toffee, grilled Seville orange zest, sultanas and peat smoke. The finish is velvety and long, ending in drying peat smoke.
