Bowmore 21 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask is an Islay single malt bottled at 46.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Bowmore was founded in 1779.
The whisky is matured in sherry oak with a Pedro Ximenez finish, which adds dried fruit, treacle and spice alongside the distillery's coastal character. It was named World's Best Single Malt Whisky at the 2026 World Whiskies Awards.
The nose has tobacco leaf, heather, beeswax, toffee treacle and spice. The palate is velvety, with toffee, vanilla, orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg and red berries, and a little salty smoke. The finish is long and warming, with sweet oak and gentle smoke.
