This Bowmore is an Islay single malt bottled independently by Duncan Taylor in its Premium Octave range. It was distilled in 2000, matured for 22 years and then finished in a small sherry octave cask of around 60 litres. Only 78 bottles were produced.
It is bottled at natural cask strength. The nose brings charcuterie, peat smoke and vanilla, and the palate follows with toffee, baking spice and seaweed.
