A 25 year old Islay single malt from Bowmore, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured for its full 25 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose brings ripe berries, mellow vanilla and oak. On the palate the texture is velvety, with soft sherry fruit and gentle spice, while subtle peat smoke adds depth without taking over. The finish is long, warm and slightly briny, with lingering spice and a coastal freshness.
