Bowmore 25 Years is an official Islay single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in both bourbon and sherry casks, a pairing that sets soft peat alongside sherry cask character.
The nose is typically described as gentle smoke, peat, maritime notes, chocolate and orange zest. The palate opens with spice and is well balanced, with ash, peat, herbs and fruity touches of raisin and red fruit. The finish is medium in length, with orange, pepper, chocolate and oak.
