Bowmore 27 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in November 1998 and bottled in January 2026 by TCW. It matured in a sherry hogshead and was bottled at 48.8% vol in 70cl bottles, with an outturn of 103.
Bowmore was established in 1779 as Islay's first licensed distillery.
The nose has mineral smoke and brine over candied peel and cherry compote. The palate is full and richly sweet, with blood orange, black cherries and dried figs, and the finish is long, drying into soft ash and sea salt.
