A 30 year old Bowmore single malt, distilled in 1989 and released in 2020. It matured in Sherry hogsheads and Bourbon barrels and is bottled at 45.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The character is fruity, tropical and sweet, with butterscotch notes and the subtle peat smoke of Bowmore. The colour is burnished gold.
On the nose it is ripe apricot, charred pineapple, mango and butterscotch. The palate brings intense tropical fruit with a gentle sweetness and warm peat smoke, and the finish is mouth-warming, with ripe fruit lingering.
