This is a 9 year old single malt from Bowmore, matured in sherry casks. Bowmore is described as the oldest distillery on Islay.
The whisky has a dark, coppery colour. The nose brings dark chocolate, pepper and dried fruit, with a light citrus note and smoke. On the palate there is a clear sherry note with peat smoke, dark fruit and caramel. The finish is medium in length and ends on salty, smoky notes.
