Bowmore No.1 is an Islay single malt named after the distillery's No.1 Vaults, one of Scotland's oldest maturation warehouses. Bowmore, founded in 1779, is Islay's oldest working distillery. It is matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks. Sweet vanilla, honeyed malt and fresh citrus meet gentle peat smoke and subtle maritime notes, with American oak adding a creamy sweetness. Bowmore No.1 was introduced in 2017 as the successor to Bowmore Small Batch.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
