Bowmore – Surf Litre (100cl, 43%)

Bowmore – Surf Litre is a single malt whisky from Bowmore (Islay). Bottled at 43% ABV, 100cl. Bowmore Surf was a long-running travel retail exclusive. It was introduced in 1993 and bottled until 2014 when it was eventually replaced in an overhaul of the range. These famous screen-print bottlings were introduced in 1988 for the 10- and 12-year-old expressions, following the rebranding of the Stanley P. Morrison company as Morrison Bowmore Distillers and the revamping of their distillery core ranges as a result. The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky.
