Bowmore Timeless 27 Year Old is a limited-edition Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. It began in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks and spent its final 12 years in first-fill oloroso sherry butts.
It is bottled at natural cask strength, with 3,000 bottles released.
The nose offers prunes, sultanas and stone fruit, then oloroso sherry, candied orange, toffee and gentle spice. The palate brings rich chocolate, dried fruit and balanced warming peat, and the finish is long and bold, led by sherry with a smoky depth.
