Bowmore – Vault Edition First Release

This is the first release in Bowmore's Vault Edition, a limited Islay single malt made to show key traits of the distillery's house style. It leans towards the maritime side of Bowmore, pairing the distillery's peat smoke with a pronounced coastal influence. The edition draws its inspiration from Bowmore's No.1 Vaults, which stand close to the shores of Loch Indaal. The nose offers sea salt, coastal air and peat smoke, with citrus and a little sweetness. On the palate, salinity meets smoke, fruit and gentle sweetness, with oak and spice, followed by a long, smoky, coastal finish.
