This is a 26 year old Bowmore single malt from Islay, bottled at 48.7% ABV. It is the second part of the Vintner's Trilogy.
The whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and wine barriques, and was stored in Bowmore's No.1 Vaults, which add a maritime character.
Malt, dark and red fruit, peat smoke, salt, oak, spice and coastal notes are the flavours described.
