This is a 30 year old single cask malt distilled at Braeval, the Speyside distillery formerly known as Braes of Glenlivet. Tri Carragh bottled it at a natural strength of 50.6% in a 70cl bottle.
It spent more than three decades in a refill bourbon barrel. Braeval is a working distillery but is seldom bottled as a single malt, and single casks from independent bottlers are unusual too.
The flavours are described as vanilla, strawberry and ripe orchard fruit.
