Breaker Bourbon Whisky is a hand crafted bourbon produced and bottled by Ascendant Spirits in Buellton, Santa Barbara County, California. It is aged for a minimum of five years and bottled at 45% (90 proof) in a 75cl bottle.
It matures on California's Central Coast, where warm days, cool coastal nights and Pacific air shape its time in new charred American oak barrels. The label uses the spelling 'Whisky', a deliberate choice by the brand.
The nose is caramel, vanilla and toasted oak. The palate adds baking spice and a warm sweetness, leading to a medium to long finish of vanilla, oak and gentle spice.
