Breckenridge – Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 43%)

A high-rye bourbon from the Rocky Mountains, aged for a minimum of three years in charred, new American oak barrels and then blended. The mash bill is about 50% yellow corn, with some unmalted barley and a generous measure of rye. It is bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle. The colour is a deep honey-amber. The nose brings butterscotch, candied orange and apple, with creamy corn sweetness, baked apple pie and a light peppery tingle. Dry cacao and brown sugar coat the palate, and the finish carries vanilla and white pepper.
