Broken Barrel California Oak is a straight bourbon distilled in Owensboro, Kentucky, and bottled at 44% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The mash bill is 70% corn, 21% rye and 9% malted barley.
The finish comes from staves rather than a whole cask: 80% Central Coast Cabernet wine barrel staves and 20% new charred French oak staves.
