This is a 25-year-old Highland single malt from Brora Distillery, released in 2008 as part of Diageo's annual special releases. It is bottled at a natural strength of 56.3% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled before the distillery closed in 1983 and matured for twenty-five years in oak casks.
Brora's style is described as gentle peat smoke with a coastal influence, waxy complexity and an elegant fruit character.
