Black Art 9 is a single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay. The 9.1 release was composed from 29-year-old whisky.
It comes from the 1992 vintage, distilled in the years before the distillery closed in 1994. Casks from that period make up only 1% of the stock held in the Bruichladdich warehouses.
As with every Black Art, the choice of casks used for this edition is the head distiller's secret.
