The whiskey spends seven years in Oregon oak and is then given a finishing rest in Madeira wine casks. Bull Run makes it from Oregon Select malted barley and Bull Run watershed water.
The Madeira finish comes through first, with dried apricot and fig, honey and a walnut-like nuttiness over malt sweetness and Oregon oak.
