Bulleit – Bourbon (70cl, 45%)

Bulleit Bourbon is a Kentucky-style bourbon bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It takes its inspiration from the whiskey pioneered by Augustus Bulleit more than 150 years ago. The mash combines rye, corn and malted barley, with a high proportion of rye, and the water is filtered through Kentucky limestone. This gives a bold, spicy character. Medium amber in colour, it has gentle spice and sweet oak on the nose. The palate is smooth, with maple, oak and nutmeg. The finish is long and dry, with a light toffee note.
