Bulleit Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV) in a 70cl bottle.
Its mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley, which gives a spicy and complex character. It is often used in classic cocktails such as the Manhattan and the Sazerac.
The flavour runs to vanilla, honey, crisp orchard fruit and baking spices, followed by a smooth, lingering, woody finish.
