Burlotto Gian Carlo Barolo DOCG (13.5%)

A Barolo DOCG from Cantina Massara, made from Nebbiolo grown on three hills in Verduno: Massara, Neirane and Castagni. The different soils contribute tannic softness, structure and robustness, and greater tannicity respectively. It is aged for 36 months in bottle. In the glass it is garnet red with orange reflections. It is dry, full, fresh and harmonious, with the complexity and balance typical of Barolo. Serve at 18-20 C with important meat dishes and aged cheeses with a decisive flavour.
