Burnside is a teaspooned Balvenie, distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2023 by Berry Bros. & Rudd at 57.9% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was finished in an Oksamyt wine cask from Ukraine, number 7059, and the release is limited to 156 bottles worldwide.
With a little air and some warmth in the glass, it gives raspberry yoghurt, sweets and vanilla.
