This is Burnside 28 Year Old, a blended whisky bottled by Cadenhead's at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Burnside is connected to Balvenie, the Dufftown distillery in Speyside. Balvenie takes its name from nearby Balvenie Castle, and William Grant & Sons built the distillery in 1892 from the remains of the castle's ruined guest house. It now has eight stills, and the Kininvie distillery has stood on the same site since 1990.
