This is a 10-year-old single malt Irish whiskey from Bushmills, in a 75cl bottle at 47.3% ABV. It is matured in oak barrels and then finished in Amarone wine casks, which give it a deep amber colour with ruby-red highlights.
The nose offers dark berries, dried fruit, vanilla and soft oak, with a hint of wine sweetness. On the palate come red grapes, black cherry, honey, malt and gentle spice over oak. The finish is long, with lingering dark fruit, subtle tannins and soft oak spice.
