This is a 16 year old Irish whisky from Bushmills, a distillery bottling in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. Colouring has been added.
It was aged in oloroso sherry, bourbon and port wine casks.
The nose is notably deep, with oak, citrus fruit, marzipan and vanilla, lightly sweet. On the palate it is full-bodied, with marzipan and honey, then caramelised fruit and roasted nuts. The finish is pleasantly long and dry, with a little dark chocolate.
