Bushmills 21 Year Old is an Irish single malt, triple distilled in small copper stills and matured for 21 years. At least 19 of those years were spent in ex-Oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks, and two in ex-Madeira casks.
It has an intense golden colour. The nose is aromatic, with raisins and hazelnuts, followed by hints of caramel and dark chocolate. The palate is soft and spicy, leading to a long finish of mint and fresh liquorice.
