This is a 30 year old single malt Irish whiskey from the Old Bushmills Distillery, in the village of Bushmills, where official records date the licence to distil to 1608.
The whiskey first rested in bourbon and sherry barrels. It was then moved into Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for a finish, which gives the malt its depth and complexity.
