Bushmills Black Bush is a blended Irish whiskey from Northern Ireland, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. Bushmills dates its distillery to 1608.
The blend is 80% triple distilled single malt and 20% grain whiskey, aged in casks seasoned with Oloroso sherry.
Tasting notes describe a nose of dried fruits, roasted nuts and warm spice with dark chocolate and leather. The palate is silky and rich, with sherry-soaked raisins, malted barley, cinnamon and light oak. The finish is smooth and slightly sweet, gently spiced, with lingering fruit and malt.
